This is how fitness changed my life...

I started working out when I was thirteen because I was struggling with self-esteem issues. My self-esteem issues were leading to many challenges in my life. It was hard to make friends and I always felt alone, even in a large group of people. Finally I got fed-up. I decided it was time to make a change.

Fitness helped me gain confidence and I started to feel more comfortable in my own skin. Because I struggled with self-esteem for so long, I needed something that could help me change my body and also upgrade my mindset. I went down the street to a yard sale and bought a weight bench and dumbbells. That worked in the beginning, but eventually I joined a gym.

It was hard at first, I was reading all the bodybuilding magazines and trying all different types of workout styles, and although the results were okay, I didn’t REALLY start making changes until one of the older guys at the gym came over to me and handed me a workout program that he wrote for me. I followed that workout to the best of my ability and ate everything that man told me to eat. My body changed more in that twelve weeks than any other time in my life.

So I decided to become an online trainer because I realized how powerful it was for me to have a professional’s guidance, experience, and accountability. This experience still fuels me today to help as many men as I can to completely change their lives.

The 5 Secrets to lose weight

As an online fitness coach one of the BIGGEST questions I get about losing weight is HOW! What do I need to do in order to hit this goal without hating the process?

Here are my 5 secrets to losing weight

1. See yourself as a healthy and vibrant person. Stop viewing yourself as sick and tired. If you believe it, you can achieve it.

2. Get rid of all crappy, processed food. Eat healthy, nutrient dense food that nourishes your body.

3. Workout with weights 3-4 times a week for 30-45 min. There’s 168 hours in a week, you can give 90 minutes for your health.

4. Make small changes daily towards your health until these changes become habits. Health and fitness has to become a lifestyle not just a fad.

5. If you are new or just coming back, hire a fitness coach to guide you and help you to overcome all obstacles.

Any one of these secrets could be the one that moves the needle for you and helps you hit this goal right away. And one of these secrets probably speaks to you more than the other ones!

Drop a 💯if you agree! I don’t just train to look good, I train to be around for a long time. I train so I can play with my kids and take care of my family. I train so that I can do simple things like get up and down from the ground or grab something from a high shelf. I train because I want to look good, feel good, and be able to move.
