The hunt never gets old! 🦈🦷

Another successful day diving the fossil beds off Venice, Florida! Every dive is a reminder that you never know what's waiting beneath the sand. These Megalodon teeth have been hidden for millions of years, and there's nothing quite like spotting one emerge from the bottom.

Some of my latest finds made the trip home with me, and I couldn't be happier with how this collection is growing.

Have you ever found a Meg tooth, or is it still on your bucket list?

🦈 Monster Tooth Alert! 🦈

What an incredible day diving in Venice! I was lucky enough to uncover this almost 5-inch Megalodon tooth while diving with Aquanutz Dive Charter. Finding a tooth this size is something every fossil hunter dreams about, and this one definitely didn’t disappoint!

People always ask what I hunt underwater… well, I hunt dead things! 😄 Millions of years after this giant shark ruled the oceans, it’s still leaving behind treasures for divers willing to get a little sandy and dig.

Who knows what the next dive will uncover?

Have you ever found something underwater that made your day?

"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take"... but sometimes the ones you miss make for the best stories.

This Cobia cruised right into range, and for a split second I thought, *this is the one.* I took the shot... and missed.

Looking back, that might have been for the best! A hooked Cobia on scuba can turn into an absolute rodeo, and there's a good chance the camera would have captured some unforgettable chaos. 😂

No regrets. Every opportunity is a chance to learn, improve, and make memories. There will always be another dive, another fish, and another shot.

Would you have taken it? 🎣🤿

There’s something unforgettable about that first descent.

As the surface fades above you and the blue opens up, the outline of a shipwreck slowly comes into view. On this dive, the visibility was incredible. From nearly 60 feet away, we could already make out so much of the wreck before we even reached the bottom.

No matter how many wreck dives I do, that moment never gets old. The history, the marine life, and the sheer scale of it all leave me in awe every single time.

This is why I dive.

🌊 Depth: 60 ft
👀 Amazing visibility
⚓ Incredible wreck views from the descent all the way to the bottom

Who else loves that feeling when a wreck slowly appears out of the blue?

🤿 Scuba diving teaches you a lot...
✔️ Stay calm.
✔️ Check your air.
✔️ Never forget...
..where you parked the boat. 🚤😂

Luckily, I eventually found mine! 😅

Who's guilty of doing the "Where's the boat?" spin after surfacing?

🦈 Face to Face with the Giants! 🤿

One of the best parts of diving the South Jack wreck near Egmont Key is never knowing what you’re going to encounter. On this dive, several incredible Goliath Groupers made an appearance, reminding us why these waters are some of the best diving on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Stay tuned—I’ll be sharing more photos and videos from my recent dives!

Have you ever had a close encounter with a Goliath Grouper? Let me know in the comments! 👇

Had an awesome day diving and was fortunate enough to bring home some fresh dinner! Here's a short clip featuring two great catches—a Hogfish and a Red Grouper. The family was definitely happy to see some fresh seafood coming through the door!

We completed two dives today:
🔹 93 ft
🔹 84 ft

The visibility was absolutely incredible, making for some beautiful conditions underwater and a fantastic day of diving overall.

There's nothing quite like spending time beneath the surface and then sharing the rewards with family afterward. Looking forward to the next trip! 🌊🐠🦞
