🚨 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻… 🐟
Red Snapper season opens THIS Friday (May 1)!
✔️ 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻: Opens May 1 and runs 7 days a week
✔️ 𝗕𝗮𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁: 4 fish per person
✔️ 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲: 16 inches total length
Private recreational anglers can fish in both state and federal waters, while state charter vessels may fish within Louisiana’s state waters (within 9 miles).
Last year brought an incredible 200-day season thanks to LA Creel… and we’re aiming for another strong run in 2026. The season stays open until Louisiana’s allocation of 882,439 pounds is met.
