Is your Hollis 200LX regulator part of the voluntary recall? In this video, we show you exactly where to find the serial number on your second stage to confirm if your gear needs an upgrade.
⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE:
Huish Outdoors has issued a voluntary recall for certain Hollis 200LX second stage regulators due to reports of internal components (inlet tube) potentially fracturing. This could render the regulator non-functional and pose a drowning hazard. If your unit is affected, STOP USE IMMEDIATELY.
AFFECTED SERIAL NUMBER RANGES:
Check the serial number located under the mouthpiece of your 200LX second stage. The affected ranges are:
• C37523 – C77735
• S73202 – S84427
• HA00001 – HA14873
• LX001698 – LX009896
HOW TO IDENTIFY YOUR REGULATOR:
1. Model Check: Look at the top of the second stage housing for the label “200LX Hollis.”
2. Serial Number: Peel back or look under the rubber mouthpiece to locate the serial number stamped on the body.
WHAT TO DO NEXT:
If your regulator falls within these ranges, take the second stage to your local authorized Hollis dealer. They will replace the original brass inlet tube with an upgraded stainless steel version (Retrofit Kit PN 01.000313) at no cost to you.
