As the season is winding down so are things in the shop.

I will not be restocking bait at this time and what I have in the shop is all that’s left. Traps have been put away until the summer and tanks are getting cleaned up in preparation for the off season.

Loaded up for the Cobbossee derby this weekend!

Likely my last large haul of fish for the season and I was able to get the tanks filled up!

I’ve got a good supply of medium, large, and XL shiners just in time for the Cobbossee derby. Some smalls in there as well.

For the pike guys,
I was able to run into some jumbo golden shiners and caught a few on the jig stick the other day, it doesn’t happen often but it is quite exciting when it does! We’ve got a few sea smelts left as well. Both are in limited supply so don’t wait!

Sold out of lake smelts and I’ve decided to clean that tank out and close it for the season. lake smelts will not be in stock for the rest of the season unless otherwise noted.

Writing this one from the shop, it’s gonna be a late one tonight! It was a busy day guiding chasing flags all over the place with a great family group in the AM and a bachelor party in the PM.

Water changes and general upkeep is keeping me plenty busy tonight.

We’ve got some great bait in the shop currently! Stocked pretty heavy with larges and XL’s. Couple dozen lake smelts left.

Sea smelts are selling and the pike fisherman are having good luck on them!

Smalls-XL shiners, lake smelts, sea smelts, and a couple suckers are in stock.

Sea Smelts are in the shop! Word on the street is the pike like them more than any other bait out there! Togue love them as well!

Shiners have been moderately restocked as traps are producing small yields but some none the less.

Starting a new series of traps on a promising piece of water today which is exciting🤞🏻

Smalls-XL’s, lake smelts, sea smelts, and a few suckers but not many.

Smelts are back in stock, was able to pull some traps and caught a few shiners but not anything to write home about.

We’ve got small shiners-XL’s, fresh smelts, moosehead crawlers, and a few suckers as of writing this.

Did some shop chores tonight to get things back in order after a very busy day filled with customers.

Bait has been flying out of the tanks this weekend!

Smelts have sold out but I’m bringing in a bunch more tonight.

Working on replenishing shiners, no progress on the jumbos yet unfortunately. Thinking about adding some sea smelts into the mix, big pike and togue love them! Like always I’ll keep the page updated with the current status of bait in the shop.

My bait made it up to the east grand derby and it looks like they’re producing quality fish!

My pike shiners/jumbos have sold out. They’re tough to get so it’s tough telling when I’ll have them back in stock again. I jig them by hand and they can be very fickle. Locating them is 90% of the challenge but it keeps it fun hunting them down!

Stocked with smalls-XL shiners, smelts, and moosehead worms/crawlers.

Thank you for all the business today! The derby traffic has the shiners going out quicker than I can get them in. That being said I am currently dwindling in inventory.

I’m running to check my traps first thing tomorrow morning and will replenish with any luck 😎🎣❄️ Thanks for your patience & good luck this weekend
