After boarding, training and judging hunters and jumpers for 25+ years, we have turned to just keeping a few special horses, mostly retirees. Now that Parker has swithched to a saddle with a horn we have several reining horses and the jump field is turning into a slide zone!

It is the end of an era, a chapter, and a sad day here at Pine Meadow Farm.
Today the last horse to still live here since the Sandy and Ed Minchin days of Pine Meadow Farm, the last of the futurity champions, the last of the horses born here at PMF, crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Take It Easy (Ray) was born the night that Ed’s Uncle Ray’s play Take It Easy opened in NY.
As a three year and four year old, he showed and won in classes at the IHF with great rides from Aaron Vale and Laura Kraut.
He paraded in his Championship cooler and Ginny Moss’s 100th birthday celebration because he was by her stallion, What a Tell.
Ray’s dam was the great Brigadoon who was shown very successfully by Lainie Wimberly (Brigadoon Show Stables)
Ray will be buried here on the same farm as his dam.
Thank you Dr Tom and Tuesday (SPEA) for always being here for us in the sad times.
