Bluewater Kayak Works is sponsoring the expedition: "From the end of the world to the Falkland Islands" with the Freedom 500C "compact" electric bilge pump. Today these sytems are on their way to Argentina. These are the same systems that we installed in Freya's current South America expedition Epic 18 kayaks. Good luck to Alejandro and Juan as they paddle from the end of the worls to the Falklands!!

Congratulations to Mark Eldrige who won a Freedom 500 at the 6th UK Storm Gathering Sea Kayak Symposium in Anglesey, Wales Oct 22-24, 2011. Mark is going to be one of our first mates across the Antlantic to be using the Freedom 500!

This is the course for self-rescue competition at the Northwest Paddling Festival at Jack Block Park West Seattle, WA. Come out and participate. There is no extra charge to enter the self-rescue competition.
