It's a great day for popcorn! Join us this afternoon at Vashon Theatre for a free showing of Kay D. Ray's documentary The Freelance Beaver Detective, which follows Pamela Adams as she tracks the mighty beaver in urban settings. Q & A after the show with Adams and our cosponsors, Vashon Nature Center and the Vashon Land Trust. Doors open at 12:30.

Vashon Park District has new a Bike Club!

Join us for our second group ride on Saturday, May 23rd along the Seattle waterfront. We will catch the 9:20 ferry to Fauntleroy (WSF changed the time after we printed the posters 🙄) and ride around Alki, along SAM’s sculpture park before backtracking to Mirabelle by Orphee Pâtisserie in Pioneer Square to make this a truly sweet ride .

This is a free ride open to all adults—whether you’re looking for a steady spin or just a fun way to connect with others on the island.

Helmets and signed waivers are required.
