United States Space Force Tech. Sgt. Louis Prewitt currently works as NCOIC of Space Electromagnetic Welfare at the 533rd Training Squadron.

At work, this hawk provide a hands-on approach to teaching students difficult concepts by developing models, simulators, and practical exercises, sustains existing in-house software like EWOK, and brings a cyberspace perspective for Undergraduate Space Training and help.

"I joined the U.S. Air Force because it offered me opportunities to better myself and provide a future for my family, but I transferred to the U.S. Space Force to continue to serve where my passions are," said Prewitt, who's from Shelbyville, Ky.

When not at work, this Hawk is working on cars, motorsports, playing music, playing video games, and spending time with his wife.

Great job, Tech. Sgt. Prewitt!

533 TRS Mission: “Train, develop, and inspire agile space operators to counter 21st century adversaries”

The 533rd Training Squadron Conducts Undergraduate Space Training (UST) for all officer and enlisted space operators in the US Air Force. Students are taught a broad spectrum of foundational space topics, to include: Military Space History, Space Force Enhancement, Orbital Mechanics, Space Policy and Law, Acquisitions, Signal Generation and Propagation, Cyberspace Operations, Satellite Subsystems, and Satellite Command and Control. Upon graduation, the students join the ranks of Air Force professionals operating critical space systems with impacts spanning the globe.
