Please let me welcome you for all your support this last bird season. You are invited to join us on April 26th for Mushroom Fest 2025.

The party will be held at the Sandy Run Clubhouse and starts around 4pm with food starting around 5pm until it’s gone or everyone is full. If you would like to do some shroom hunting you are welcome to come early. Bring your pole if you’d like to try to catch some bass or bluegill from the ponds.

Multiple types of mushrooms, fish, shrimp, beer can chicken, fried tators and some crawfish with all the fixings are on the menu.

Bring a chair and what you would like to drink and I will see you the last Saturday of April.

I have two German Wirehaired Pointers female pups for sale. Both parents are upland bird hunting guide dogs for me a Sandy Run Hunt Co. Both excellent hunters and easily trained, very natural abilities. The pups will be 8 weeks on January 11, 2025. The litter is registered with the AKC. Scott Dixon has one male wirehair pup available from his last litter. This guy turned 7 weeks old on 4/11/24 and is ready for a new home. Last Sunday's Continental Pheasant Shoot was a great success, but still spread 60 plus pheasant around the Sandy Run Fields. This is a first, a stormy, wet forecast has forced me to reschedule the Continental Pheasant Shoot to Sunday, Nov. 5th. With the date change, I am sure a few stands will open up for new shooters.
