🥎 FALL LEAGUE WEEK 1 RECAP 🥎
The team kicked off fall league Tuesday night at Action Sports Center and came away 1-1 on the night!
Game 1: We opened the night against Miami Valley Legends 11U and came up short, 5-2. We struck first and had some positives throughout the game. Haven went 1-for-2 with an RBI, Lilly added a hit, and Ella swiped three bases. As a team, we collected six stolen bases and six walks while playing error-free defense.
Game 2: The girls responded in a BIG way, defeating Ohio Thunder 12U Hayes 19-2! The offense exploded for 18 hits, led by Lilly and Ady, who both went 3-for-3. Ady drove in three runs, while Avery, Haven, and Faye each had multiple hits. We were aggressive from start to finish, finishing with an incredible 19 stolen bases!
Lincoln earned the win in the circle, allowing just one hit and no earned runs over two innings while striking out four, with Avery coming in to finish the game!
There were definitely things to clean up from Game 1, but we loved the way the girls responded in Game 2. A 1-1 start to the fall league and plenty to build on!
