For years, her feet reminded her every day that she had diabetic neuropathy.
Not with pain alone—but with the constant tingling, numbness, and uncomfortable sensations that never seemed to take a break.
She couldn't remember what it felt like to have normal sensation in her feet.
The tingling. The numbness. The uncomfortable sensations were there all the time. Day after day. Night after night.
She came to Recovery Space looking for support and committed herself to the process. She showed up consistently, even when changes were small and easy to miss.
About a month later, she shared something that made me smile.
"There are times now when I don't feel it at all."
Not every day is perfect. Sometimes the tingling or numbness still comes back. But now it is much milder, and there are many days when those uncomfortable sensations are simply not there.
That was a huge difference for her.
Something else changed too. She is sleeping better. She has more energy. She feels more like herself again.
I love stories like this because they remind me that healing is often quiet. It doesn't always arrive with a dramatic moment. Sometimes it arrives as a better night's sleep. A little more energy. A day without discomfort.
Small changes. Consistent effort. New possibilities. ❤️
