The award-winning Lightning Dance Team competes in competitions at the local and state level, performs at high school games, hosts a yearly all-day competition for over 2,000 spectators and team members, and hosts dance clinics for elementary and middle schools in the community. Lightning Dancers have a positive influence at Mt. View and throughout their community. Many are actively involved in le
adership, NHS, clubs, sports, music, and/or performing arts. Many are in honors and AP classes and some participate in Running Start. The Lightning Dance Team is a close group of dancers lead by positive coaches, team captains, and bonding captains and supported by hard-working parent volunteers, family, and friends.
