Have you heard the news?!

Anavai O Te Ora has been quietly curating a collection of vintage muʻumuʻu from Hawaiʻi—and this August, we’re finally bringing them out of the closet. ✨

Join us at the Port of Kalama during the Kalama Cultural Festival for a Vintage Muʻumuʻu Fashion Show celebrating the bold prints, beautiful silhouettes, and effortless glamour of Hawaiʻi fashion through the decades.

We’ll be pulling pieces from our collection and styling them with a fresh, modern eye to show you exactly why the muʻumuʻu deserves its moment again.

And when the show is over... you can find one of your own. 👀

Our collection of 50+ vintage muʻumuʻu will be available to shop throughout the festival weekend. These are true vintage pieces sourced from Hawaiʻi, with different eras, labels, prints, cuts, and sizes represented—and once a piece is gone, it’s gone.

Closing out AANHPI Month with a half time for the Portland Fire 🔥 WNBA team. Thank you for allowing us to share our love for our Pacific Islands heritage and cultures on such a big stage.

We were super bummed our fireknife dancers, Joseph and Napu couldn’t light up but hopefully next year it will be allowed. Mahalo to uncle Oni and uncle Mahks for pulling an all nighter making the LED sticks since we couldn’t light up. They turned out super cool and I think I need one now lol.

Help us welcome back a returning group to the Kalama Cultural Festival, Anavai O Te Ora. You’ll learn more about this Tahitian dance group's performance at the festival later on. This vendor will have a booth featuring pareu or “sarongs” for sale.
