When you hear the word “wellness”, what comes to your mind? Does this diagram feel overwhelming?
There are so many things to think about when we address our own wellness and how well we feel day to day and year over year… especially when there’s a company waiting around every corner to sell us something to help us feel better, look better, age better… you name it. It can feel paralyzing sometimes.
The concept of wellness is continually trending, and no wonder, as the 8 pillars of wellness are, in and of themselves, fairly complex. So as we navigate through the loud, busy streets of social media, advertising, cultural messaging, and our own internal dialogues…
Take a pause. Take a moment to appreciate where you are TODAY, RIGHT NOW… wherever you are on your journey.
Even if some of your wellness pillars aren’t quite where you want them to be…
Even if you know you need to make adjustments to 1 or 2 pillars in order to plan better for your future…
Even if you’re not sure what steps to take next…
Remember life is complex. Wellness is complex. Change can be difficult, slow, and frustrating. But it’s all part of the journey.
