Some wins mean a little more than others.
Before we ever unloaded at the track, it felt like everything that could go wrong did. The motorhome threw error codes, the jacks quit working, gauges stopped working, the check engine light came on, and the stress just kept piling up.
Then, just 30 minutes from the track and nearly midnight, disaster struck. A tree had fallen across the road. We didn’t see it until the last second and hit it with the motorhome. The impact shattered the front windshield and side window and destroyed both awnings on the motorhome and race trailer. Thankfully, Evan had a blanket over him when the glass came busting in.
At that point, most people would have turned around.
Not this team.
We dug deep, pushed through the frustration, the lack of sleep, and the setbacks. We got to the track, slept for a few hours, unloaded, went to work, and tonight we parked it in Victory Lane.
This win isn’t just about being fast. It’s about determination, perseverance, and a team that refuses to quit when things get tough.
To everyone who helped us along the way, thank you. Tonight’s trophy is proof that sometimes the road to Victory Lane is anything but smooth.
🏁 P1 and proud of it.
