Hello Badasses!!!!

This message is for anyone who has been an integral part of the race for 13 years!!! We would love to have you come back in some capacity and be a part of the event supporting all of the runners again this year.

Our race has a unique setup for Iowa ultras, with the event passing through 11 aid stations for the 100 milers, and we need to staff all of them with people who love this sport and want to give back.

So...my ask today is that if you love this sport, love helping people, can hand out snacks, pour drinks, give high fives and "WOOT WOOTS" for a couple of hours, please consider clicking the link below to volunteer for the race this year. We know everyone is busy, but we'd love to have you be part of the event and help runners accomplish things they may never have thought possible.

As a thank you, all volunteers will receive a complimentary entry into any race for the 2027 edition!!!

The aid stations that need assistance are the following:
Start/Finish (All Races) - This will be greatly appreciated as a supply runner
Mile 25 Aid Station (100k & 100 Mile)
Mile 56 Aid Station (100k & 100 Mile)
Mile 72 Aid Station (100 Mile)

After today, registrations will not be able to purchase a shirt with registration but a limited quantity will be available for purchase at packet pickup. All participants WILL, however, be guaranteed our killer new SWAG this year…a 20L drybag that is PERFECT for drop bags or throwing your stinky clothes in after the race!!!

Runners will also be receiving a sample of Squirrel's Nut Butter and there will be a nice little add on from our friends at Darn Tough socks as well 😃
