🎣 BADGER CREEK CRAPPIE CHALLENGE REMINDER! 🎣

Just a reminder that the Crappie Tournament is coming up on June 13th!

Registration is $40 per person. You can register the morning of the tournament, or if you'd like to pay ahead of time, simply send your entry fee through Venmo using the QR code attached to this post.

We'll meet at the East Boat Ramp in the large parking lot at 7:00 AM for check-in and registration. A brief safety meeting will be held at 8:00 AM, and lines go in the water at 8:30 AM.

This is meant to be a fun, relaxed tournament for anglers of all skill levels. This is not a professional tournament series—just a great day of crappie fishing and a way to help kick off 515 Bait while bringing local anglers together.

We'll do our best to keep everything organized, fair, and professional while keeping the atmosphere fun and welcoming for everyone.

🎣 Free Fishing Weekend in Iowa! 🎣
Hey everybody, remember that June 5th through June 7th is Iowa's Free Fishing Weekend! Iowa residents can fish for three days without a fishing license.
Stop in and stock up on live bait before you hit the water. Get out there, enjoy the weekend, and catch all the fish you can! Just remember to stay within all legal size and bag limits.
We'll have live bait ready and waiting. Good luck, be safe, and tight lines! 🎣🐟

Stop in at Fifth Quarter Sports Bar & Grill and grab a sandwich and a cold drink before you head out.
While you're there, be sure to check out the bait fridge. You never know what you might find in there. We're always bringing in new baits and fishing products to help keep you on the fish.

🎣 I'm back in town and the bait shop is open!
We've got fatheads, small minnows, plenty of night crawlers, and leeches in stock.
This week I'll be doing a little fishing and hopefully bringing in a fresh batch of large shiners, green sunfish, and chubs.
⚠️ There is road construction near the shop. Thanks for taking the time to stop by. Please slow down and watch for construction workers and equipment.

Tournament time is coming fast — make sure to get out and pre-fish before June 13th. I’ll be out of town until Wednesday for a graduation, so call Travis or me to set up a time for bait. Don’t wait until the fish are biting and your bucket’s empty! 😆
