Coach has a few slogans which are a bit inflammatory and not particularly nice, unless you understand the context. The good news is, the parents and families LOVE IT. “Shut up” is not a nice thing to say, but life isn’t always nice. This sign was a gift from a family who understands and supports the tough love that their precious little one gets in class. Coach: “Ok Champs, it’s time for me to talk and you….” Kids: “SHUT UP!!” 🤣🤣🤣 You can’t learn with your mouth. When my coach Don Paul Bales gets on the mat, I shut up too! Championship MMA

Coach Spotlight! Coach Aaron is our main assistant coach for the youth program, and the main coach of our Championship MMA Competition BJJ team. He’s a brown belt with six years experience, and has been a mainstay of the program from day one. He’s always happy, polite, hard working, and willing to help whether he’s coaching or training. He will be starting a separate, jiu jitsu only class starting this Friday, August 7th. As a multiple gold medalist in competitions all over the area, he’s excited to teach the Championship MMA competition team the winning strategies that got him there.
