Zenshinkai Fall Aikido Seminar Reflection

I’d like to begin by expressing deep gratitude to Lincoln Sensei and all the Aikidoka from her dojo for being such gracious and welcoming hosts. Your warmth and hospitality made this seminar truly special.

A heartfelt thank you to Noble Sensei and the Teaching Committee for the incredible instruction throughout the weekend. Your dedication to the art and to our growth is deeply appreciated.

To all the fellow Aikidoka who attended—thank you. Aikido is not a solo journey. It takes each of us showing up fully, offering sincere attacks, receiving throws with openness, and pouring our energy into the mat. Together, we grow.

This weekend also marked some well-deserved promotions, and I’d like to take a moment to recognize those individuals who have advanced in their Aikido journey. Your hard work, spirit, and perseverance are an inspiration to us all:

Johnson Sensei – Rokudan (6th Dan)

Guibault Sensei – Rokudan (6th Dan)

Null Sensei – Godan (5th Dan)

Drew – Shodan (1st Dan)

It was a great seminar as always. I had the opportunity to train with some old friends and mentors, and also got to meet new friends to train with. To those who were unable to attend—you were missed! I hope we get the opportunity to train together at the next seminar.
