Here’s the highlight reel from Saturday nights feature! We didn’t have the finish we wanted after running up and battling for fourth, and then rolling… But running up towards the front gives me the drive and determination to get this thing fixed, and back out there! We will be winning races soon!

A huge thank you to all of those who have reached out to check on me after this scary wreck. I had an appointment with my doctor yesterday to get checked out and they’ve cleared me with minor scrapes and bruises. The good lord above was truly looking over me.

Thank you again to all of the people who help make it possible for me to chase this dream!

It took a hand full of late nights in the shop, but we’re out here dodging rain drops at Montpelier Motor Speedway tonight for the second race of the week! Thank you to Racer Mike for helping me out with some bumpers to get me going again!

It felt really good to take a leap of faith in trusting my machine, and so sail it deep into the corner around the top side. This past weekend was the first time I’ve been behind the wheel of a race car since college. Though it wasn’t a perfect night by any means, I certainly learned a lot, and built a connection between myself and a monster. I cannot wait to get out there to do it all over again!

Was not the night we were looking for at Waynesfield Raceway Park, but all in all it was great progress! The car is finally running like a bullet thanks to the guru himself Engler Machine and Tool. We went fourth quick in our group with a pretty stacked field. I’m learning to make adjustments as a driver and we continued to pick up speed throughout the night. Overall I’m feeling really comfortable in the car and cannot wait to get back out to the track! We were part of a major pile up on the first lap of the feature that ended our night, so we don’t have the results on paper to show for it, but huge progress has been made and it’s all about “time in the drink” at this point. Bright things are ahead and we look forward to seeing y’all in the winners circle when that day comes!

We’re heading out to Waynesfield Taceway Park for the Jack Hewitt Classic tonight. Hoping to get the monkey off our backs and bring a piece that’s stout!

Just getting home from a nitro test session in Gainesville Florida… can’t slow down now though. back to working on the USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets car and getting all of the chassis updates done before the season starts! Next step : Powdercoat!
