Happy holidays swim family! CSA has one more reason to be merry this season as Ms. Alanna is expecting a little swimmer of her own, due in March of 2025! 🐠

You may remember that our registration opens every year on February 1st at NOON on our website: cutriswimacademy.com‼️The big difference this year is that I will not be assigning start dates and time slots as I am just not sure when I will return to teaching nor what my schedule will be when I do. Submitting your registration form this year will secure your place on the waitlist and I will be reaching out to all of my registered clients when I am ready to teach again. With so much uncertainty this season, I must recommend that all of my clients look into other swim options for 2025.

Thank you for your patience and all of the love and support that we have received already. We are all so excited for our little bundle of joy! 🚼

I need some information, please. Months ago my sisters and I rented a VRBO on Siesta Key for Nov. 1-5. Our "hosts" say the house was not damaged in Helene. But, obviously if the town and beach are severely damaged we will want to cancel. We have one day to cancel and get a refund. Does anyone have an INFORMED opinion on whether the beach, restaurants and shops can/will recover within a months' time? I would like to hear from people with first hand knowledge of the area and how quickly it may have recovered from past hurricane damage. Thanks FB family, I know I can get unbiased information from you. Sometimes the news is more focused on the sensational devastation than the realistic picture. My prayers are with those who sustained damage. Thanks.

A message from Ms. Dianne:

As you may know, on May 10th I underwent surgery for an emergency pacemaker. When I got home, I announced that I would send you a refund for registration fees and the partial week of instruction as soon as possible. I apologize for not accomplishing that yet.

Unfortunately, I ended up back in the hospital with a life-threatening allergic reaction to an antibiotic I was given. When I returned home and regained some strength, I was able to process a few refunds. Then I was ambulanced back to the hospital with an infection in the pacemaker.

I am still in the hospital and will be here for at least another week. I have been on heavy antibiotic therapy, and soon they will extract the infected pacemaker, they will pace my heart temporarily with medicine while they give me high doses of antibiotics to eradicate the rest of the infection from my body. Then they will insert a new leadless pacemaker directly into my heart.

As you can imagine all of this may take a few weeks or month to accomplish. As soon as I am physically able, I will process the remainder of the registrations and fees. I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. If you have a friend, who is one of my clients, and does not read Facebook, please pass this word along to them.

Sadly, I must retire now. To all of my current and former clients; Thank you for entrusting your babies to me for the past 40 years. Thank you for providing me with a purpose and a passion, unique challenges, the opportunity to marvel at your boundless ability to learn, and all the joy and laughter you have brought my life. Thank you.
