850 Elite Volleyball Academy Our goal is to train, encourage and empower young student athletes at every level as they grow Our coaches are in the gym 7 days a week. Olympic Team and U.S.

850 Elite Volleyball Academy is a competitive volleyball organization that strives to be the premier club in the Gulf Coast Region. We are the only facility designed and built for volleyball from Tallahassee to Mobile, AL. We have a 16,500 square feet indoor space with 4 indoor courts and 3 beach courts. Our facility is close to Eglin Air Force Base, within a 30-minute drive from the communities o

f Niceville, Ft. Walton Beach, Destin and Crestview and less than an hour away from the beaches of South Walton. We are all volleyball, all the time, with programs including:

Indoor travel club teams for junior girls ages 12 to 18 years old
Beach volleyball
Grassroots programs for Elementary school kids, ages 7 to 12 years old
Private Lessons
Skill camps
Strength and Conditioning
Summer Camps
Fall Camps

We have 20 coaches who have more combined experience than any other club in the area. Most of our coaches have either played or coached at the college level, and some have competed, or coached, internationally. We strive to teach the fundamentals of volleyball, through Gold Medal Squared, to maximize the potential of each of our athletes. We use the Gold Medal Squared system to teach consistent skills across all age levels. GMS is the same system used by the U.S. National Team. Our coaches and staff work with our players to assist in the college recruiting process and prep them for success at the next level. ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING – our goal is to train, encourage, and empower young student athletes at every level as they grow!

What an amazing week of tryouts - We are so excited get started with our 2026-2027 season!

Thank you to all the amazing athletes who attended our summer tryout session last week. Great attitudes, energy and skill across all age divisions! To ALL Florida Panhandle Adult competitive volleyball players,

850 Elite Volleyball Academy community is defined by its resilience, growing local youth talent, and deep-rooted love for teaching life through sports. While the panhandle has long been strongly been represented in youth and collegiate athletics, there has always been a "ceiling" for volleyball—until now!

Emerald Vortex is proud to announce our Inaugural Adult Volleyball Interest Meeting as we aim to launch the first semi-pro volleyball adult program in the region. We are more than just a team; we are growing a movement. Competing in the Volleyball League of America (VLA) as a Tier 2 entry, our goal is to bridge the gap between collegiate excellence and professional careers, providing local players with a higher sports experience and athletes with a national stage to showcase their skills.

Here is everything you need to know about our upcoming meeting:

Date & Time: The meeting will take place on July 25, 2026, at 12:00 Noon.

Location: Join us at 424 W College Blvd, Valparaiso, FL 32580. 850 Elite Volleyball Academy

The Roster: We are building a cohesive 15-player unit featuring a 10-player travel squad and a 5-player practice squad.

The Competition: We will compete in VLA Tier 2 regional tours (EAST) and cup events, earning progressive points to qualify for the VLA National Championships.

Come out, ask questions, and Let's build something powerful!
