The Alabama Water Ski Federation exists to organize and oversee water ski tournaments and clinics in the state, as well as to promote water skiing broadly.

Hello Alabama Water Skiers,

We are going to do it again, the Auburn Water Ski Club and the Alabama Water Ski Federation are planning to host the 2026 Alabama Water Ski Championships at Divorce Lake on July 11, 2026. This will be a one day event on Saturday with a cookout following the conclusion of skiing at the lake. We are planning one round of three events, with two rounds of skiing for single event skiers, class C. We will have online registration and additional information available soon. Hello Alabama Water Skiers,

The Auburn Water Ski Club and the Alabama Water Ski Federation are planning to host the 2025 Alabama Water Ski Championships at Divorce Lake on July 12, 2025. This will be a one day event on Saturday with a cookout and Federation meeting following the conclusion of skiing at the lake. We are planning one round of three events, with two rounds of skiing for single event skiers, class C. We will have online registration and additional information available in the next couple of days. You can reach out to Mike Mosley for more information.

October marks fifty years of water skiing at Auburn University and we are going to celebrate and fellowship October 4th and 5th. Tickets for the weekend festivities to be held at the Auburn Alumni Center will be available for purchase via the Auburn Ski Club Website. We will send the link via email soon. If you are not on our email list, let me know. We can't wait to see everyone in October!

Tickets will be $50 for adults and $20 for those 18 and younger. However, look for discounted prices if you purchase tickets prior to the end of August. Also, with a ticket, you are invited to ski at our lake on Saturday afternoon for only $10 per set. Don’t miss the chance to ski with fellow alumni like old times on this championship-style private lake behind our “new to us” Ski Nautique.
