Just so everyone knows, and I'm working on it I'll tell you what I know about the recent ruling on the NFA court cases. Ohio law calls suppressors "dangerous ordnance" and that is stopping us from engaging in commerce according to the Federal ruling. The federal law is what was ruled on, not state law. That being said Senator Johnson introduced SB214 and it has passed the Ohio State Senate to update the language around suppressors in Ohio law. I have called the Sheriff's office, Senator Johnson's office, and Senator Romanchuk's office to see how the state attorney generals office is going to handle these cases in the meantime. That being said there are still caveats in the Federal ruling that apply. This is not a free for all, but signing up to be a GOA member isn't a bad idea. So be patient, and once I get some word on how the people that can send an army of police after me will act, then we can get in with this s**t. Also, call your congressman and tell them to pass SB214 ASAP.
I have posted Senator Johnson's letter to the OAG asking him to not prosecute in the meantime while the law goes through so we can get a jump start on this awesome new ruling.
