Yesterday, one of the best hunting dogs and companions for Dan Petro Lindsay Petro and their 2 boys, crossed the rainbow bridge. Today, I bet Trigger is showing Moose all her best hunting grounds as they run through the meadows and hills like puppies again. We will miss you buddy.

Ice conditions are pretty fantastic up at Put-in-Bay. Happy to report that the Walleyes are around but testing your skills to get them on the line. My Dad and I lost a nice one at the hole and a couple throw backs but got some for the freezer! Great times!

Decided to till the soil one more time which took me well past dusk to beat the rain. All done before seeding with a custom mix of Clover and variety of grass seed. After seeding I rolled the ground Hoping for a healthy and hardy ground cover base for the Orchard. We have planted multiple varieties of 3 different fruits and cannot wait for the results.
