⛳💚 Today we’re celebrating the people behind the course.
In honor of Golf Course Superintendent Recognition Day, we’re proud to recognize our Golf Course Superintendent, Wade McKenzie, and the entire Blue Rock Springs maintenance team he leads.
Wade’s path into golf course maintenance began after nearly 30 years in the automotive aftermarket industry. He started as a groundskeeper, worked his way through positions as foreman and assistant superintendent, and eventually became a golf course superintendent before making his way to Blue Rock Springs.
Today, Wade oversees the team responsible for caring for our course every single day — from greens and fairways to irrigation, bunkers, equipment, course conditions and everything in between.
And while Wade leads the operation, it takes an entire maintenance team to make it happen. Their days often begin long before the first tee time, and so much of what they do happens before most golfers ever arrive.
So today, when you’re out on the course, take a second to notice the details — and help us say THANK YOU to Wade and our entire maintenance crew for everything they do for Blue Rock Springs. 💚⛳
