Villasin Balintawak Arnis was created by Venancio “Anciong” Bacon in Cebu. Master Mel learned it from Grand Master Ver Villasin, the son of Grrat Grand Master Jose Villasin, one of Anciong’s original students and the innovator of the Grouping System used by most Balintawak practitioners.
