Ms Greta Chamberlain signed this spring to continue her Track journey with Southwestern Oregon CC in Coos Bay. Even though she graduated a Bulldog, she still holds a special place in our hearts so we wanted to recognize her accomplishments and wish her the best at the next level. Greta was a Swiss Army knife for our team doing a wide variety of events but will primarily focus on the throwing events in college.

Got the school record board updated and tracked down the new additions for a picture.

Brandon Stewart broke the Pole Vault record held by Philip Noble from 2005.

Duncan Fritts broke former teammate and training partner Trevor Stewart’s 1500 record from 2024.

Addie Saunders broke Stephanie Johnson’s 1500 and 3000 record from 1985 and 1987 respectively.

Claire Johnson broke her own school records in the 100, 200 and Heptathlon. And then broke Kimiko Kamo record in the 400 from 2006 and Hannah Bates record in the 100 hurdles from 2015.

Kaylynn Brandon takes second place at the Oregon Junior Olympic qualifier in the Heptathlon. She had personal bests in the Shot Put, High Jump and Hurdles. She now advances to the Northwest Region competition in 2 weeks.

Great job putting in the extra training hours and miles. (Got to talk with some college coaches as well)

We held our end of year banquet last night. The theme of the season was appreciation and thanks.

We can’t thank our Coaches, their families, our Athletes, their families, School Admin, Facilities, Teachers, Community Members, Alumni, and everything in between for making our season a success. We have a really good thing going and good things don’t happen by accident. We appreciate everyone that made the kids a priority.

As we say thank you and good by to our seniors we are excited for the opportunities the younger group of kids now have and look forward to seeing what they can do.
