Today’s Dog Fight delivered another day of excellent golf at Stone Creek Golf Club!

Daniel Peters came out firing at Stone Creek Golf Club, earning 7.7 gross Stableford points to claim the overall victory in a competitive 80-player field. Peters put together a masterclass display, with his best work coming on the front nine where he strung together solid point-gathering performances on holes 3, 4, 10, and 11. His consistency throughout kept him ahead of Luke Law, who earned 7.5 points and finished second on the gross leaderboard.

The skins competition spread the wealth around nicely. Mark Sigmon picked up a birdie skin on the tough 5th hole, while Mason Spivey grabbed one at 18.

Closest-to-the-pin honors went to Mark Sigmon (hole 5, 14'7"), Jack Boylan (hole 8, 3'4"), George Vincent (hole 15, 5'11"), and Jared Klingaman (hole 17, 3'0")

Tyler Boyd's dominant performance at Stone Creek Golf Club handed him the 5/30 Dogfight in commanding fashion. Boyd earned 52 net Stableford points to claim the gross title as well with 14.5 points, leaving the field in his dust with a stellar day that included several birdie moments and strong play throughout. The skins were well-distributed across the field. Thomas Getman earned his on hole six with an eagle, while John Gibson snagged one on nine with a birdie. Larry Tabor's birdie on ten rounded out the skins winners. Closest-to-pin honors went to Mark Sigmon with an incredible 8-inch approach on seventeen. Tyler Boyd's 2'3" effort on fifteen, Larry Tabor's matching 2'3" on five, and Jason Baggett's 4'1" on eight completed the KP winners. Tyler's all-around play proved once again why he deserves top billing when the Dogfight rolls around.
