GPers: Join us tonight to ring in the Holiday season, feet of new snow and the simple fact that GPA is OPEN! 4-? at the Fitz (Manor Vail). Still working on that champion to keep the page updated... Check on Twitter for a pretty sweet photo of two patrollers on top of Red Square yesterday.

Sorry about our lack of performance GPers. We're still working on who's going to be the "champion" for the page in the wake of DG's departure. The BIG news today (for us) is we finally opened GP, and MV opens tomorrow. There's new snow on our decks in the valley and that makes us smile. Please be patient as we re-invent the GPA F-book experience and figure out how to make this a useful and engaging forum.
We are anxious and excited for the new season, new snow and holidays, we're also deeply saddened and stunned/shocked/mortified by today's events. Our thoughts, prayers and hopes to all.
We'll still keep thinking snow, hugging our kids and loved ones and looking forward to everyone's arrival. All the best, GP.

And monday it begins... Sitting in the chair formerly know as DG's will be our own (as in GP's) Jeff Bennett. Jeff is making the move across the lot from kids where he's been the stalwart for more than a decade (and was the first private supervisor for GPC). And when you roll in downstairs make sure to say hey to Kolby Knox, your new group lesson sup. Kolby's making a big jump and he's psyched to help drive the guest experience forward and re-kindle the spark in groups. Congrats and welcome to Jeff and Kolby! You should see an email on Monday to get those not on F-book up to speed. Think snow!

And on the heels of BJ we wish Dave G the best of luck in his new role running privates at Beaver Creek. This is a tremendous opportunity for DG to spread his wings and take on an even bigger challenge as he prepares for his future. To say we'll miss these guys is an understatement, but I couldn't be more proud. My biggest thanks to DG for his leadership the past few years and for the awesome effort he put in to make all of your days and bookings the best possible. Stay tuned for an update on who will fill the big shoes left behind by Dave and BJ.

OK gang. leaves are turning and falling, there's snow on Riva and the Gore. It's been awhile and it's time to end the summer hiatus. How's everyone doing out there? As always, change is in the air for the coming season. Today's installment: We wish BJ all the best in his new role helping Kelly Coffey as a training manager at Breck. It was a tough decision for BJ. GP has been his home nearly 2 decades. He's looking forward to a new challenge and chapter in his life. Good luck BJ! We'll keep more regular updates from here on out.
