Welcome to Chaos!

Hello everyone, unfortunately we will not be having any teams for the 24/25 club season. This decision isn’t an easy one for me, but is necessary for now. Looking forward to the future of the club and seeing the growth of all the chaos players!

Good afternoon! just wanted to do a quick recap of the last couple weekends!

Our 18u team played in their final seeding tournament last weekend and went 3-0. Leaving them sitting number 1 out of 76 teams in the 18 championship division! They have a long road ahead to stay at the top but we couldn’t be more proud of how those girls are playing!!

Our 14u and 16u teams both played in their first seeding tournaments two weeks ago. Both teams went 2-1 and finished second in their respective pools. The 14u team enters this weekends sitting 14th in the state out of 162 teams, our 16u team enters this weekend 33rd out of 91 teams!

Let’s have a strong weekend girls!!

The cactus classic is a wrap! Our 18u team went 3-0 on Saturday and 3-0 on Sunday locking them into the Saguaro division for Monday’s tournament. Chaos 18u started out strong and was able to go all the way to the championship game, ultimately finishing second on a hard fought battle against Club Cactus 18-Mizuno. Going 8-1 and finishing second overall, this team is bound for great success this season, and we are extremely proud of what they are accomplishing! If you haven’t got to watch them play, add it to your bucket list for this season, you won’t be disappointed. Congratulations to our 18u team for an awesome tournament!!!

The Chaos 16u team struggled to get any momentum on day 1 and went 0-3 for their first club outing. Finding some traction on Sunday they were able to pickup a couple wins boosting the team spirit, but a final loss for the day would give them a record of 2-1 for Sunday, placing them in the Ocotillo bracket for Mondays games. A slow start Monday would cost chaos 16u their shot at the bracket championship, but they would go on to win their final match while also getting a little redemption against the Azone Tornados who beat them in a previous game. Chaos 16u finished third in their bracket, and finished the tournament with a record of 3-5. Not bad for the first outing of the 16u team!!!

The 14u team also struggled on day one. A mix of nerves and sickness would plague the team all weekend. Most of the 14u team has never played at this level, so it was a bit overwhelming and humbling. Chaos 14u went 0-3 on Saturday. After a regroup and strategy change, Sunday proved to be a bit different, 14u came out strong and opened the day with two wins, followed by a very close 3rd game putting their record for the day at 2-1. Chaos 14u started out Monday with a tough game and a loss to Club Cactus 14-green, who would go on to win the Ocotillo bracket. 14u closed out the day wining their final match placing them 3rd in the Ocotillo bracket, and leaving the tournament with a 3-5 record for the weekend!

All the teams had a successful weekend, they all learned something, and all will be better next time. We would like to thank Club Cactus Juniors volleyball for hosting the event, all the officials, teams, coaches, players and Most of all the parents for being positive and keeping the girls in good spirits!!!

Now, let’s turn our attention to the seeding tournaments and BRING THE CHAOS!!!
