One of my personal favorite clients (the horse, rider's kind of a pain 😉). A truly exceptional athlete I have the privilege of working on every year in the winter months. If I'm really lucky I get to run a few on her too.

The last of the winter visitors are making the trip north which means events are starting to slow down in AZ. But not Tucson, we're so lucky that things keep rolling all year around.

A big thank you to all our winter clients, it's such a pleasure to catch up with everyone. Huge thank you to our full timers that keep me hustling year round. May is starting to look pretty full so please get those big Memorial Day requests in as soon as you can 🙏

Happy New Year to all!

That post holiday rush hit our January books pretty hard, we are currently booking into February already. Thank you for your patience.

Cheers to 2026, the year of the horse. That's gotta be a good sign right? 🐎

2026 isn’t just another year on the calendar.

Horse people understand this better than anyone.

We measure time in feedings, foal seasons, miles ridden, nights checked, fences fixed, and lessons learned the hard way. We know that progress comes from patience, consistency, and showing up — even when no one is watching.

2026 is about:
• Forward motion without panic
• Power without ego
• Partnership over control
• Building something real, one day at a time

It’s a year that favors those willing to put their head down and do the work — the same way horses have always done.

Well we just successfully got the last of our Vegas goers feeling good and ready to hit the money trail. Already seeing lots of cash and prizes coming back to Tucson!

Such a huge thank you to everyone being flexible over the last 4 weeks as we dealt with events being moved around, vet certs/schedules, people willing to give up spots and work around clients in urgent need to hit the road at different times.

Also thank you SO much to those of you who had scheduled specific dates, and did NOT cancel last minute because your events were canceled. That does not go unnoticed, God Bless you 🙏.

This is always a crazy time of year, but this one was certainly a touch trickier. For the most part, the folks in our industry really DO lift each other up, stay positive, and go out of their way to help each other achieve their dreams.

With that said I'm booked full until 2026 and am so very thankful for this work we get to do everyday. I appreciate every one of you and certainly would not want to be doing anything else!

Amen to this 🙌🏻. Ya'll I've only got 2 appts this month before I'm full and even into December I've only got about 3-4 I can squeeze before the year comes to an end. This is just a crazy busy 2 month stretch for us with Vegas and other finals etc.

I will NOT be working double days this year for ya'll Vegas goers who are reaching out last minute. Just can no longer physically add more horses over my usual daily limit. Our process is about quality over quantity. Please reach out now, or you're looking at January. Appreciate it 🤙🏻

Hey all, this month is full to the brim and August is about 75% booked out already.

My books will be CLOSED the week of Labor Day September 1-5, so please get your appointment requests into me just as soon as you're able. Especially if you're needing anything right before that big holiday weekend.

Just a quick reminder I do tend to be out at least 3-6 weeks for first available so if it's not an urgent need please be patient, and if you're at all able let's get them booked BEFORE it becomes an urgent need.

"Be aware of the whole horse. Just saving the horse for the jackpots isn’t doing them any favors. They need ridden and they need to exercise regularly in the way they perform. We have to do things for them to allow for them to prepare for that unnatural thing—chasing down another animal, but only to the left. It’s fitness and not just doing left-hand maneuvers. We have to condition the horse to do all of these things at home and in the practice pen so their bodies are ready for competition."

Team ropers have developed a liking for a very specific conformation style of horse for both head and heel horses.
