Remember the smell in hockey gear comes from bacteria. Kill the bacteria kill the smell.

Global Ozone Innovations took an active role in the fight against COVID-19. We became part of a Georgia Tech study that tested our ozone sanitation systems (Sports-O-Zone) against two respiratory enveloped viruses used to mimic SARS-CoV-2 (the technical name for COVID-19). Hospital PPE was tested (Tyvek disposable gowns, face shields and N95 masks) as the most urgent need was in the hospital arena. All disinfectants (ozone included) work on time and concentration, so our goal was to find an appropriate kill over a given time period with our Sports-O-Zone Sanitizing Systems for the viruses tested.
The independent Georgia Tech Study (available on request) results are as follows:
•Sports-O-Zone (cabinet models - The DeOdorbox)
* We saw an overall reduction with a 16 minute ozone cycle of 1-2 logs – 90% to 99% kill.
* With a 60 ozone cycle, we saw a 3.5-4 logs reduction – 99.95% to 99.99% kill. We are calling this our “hospital protocol.”
