Carlson Gracie Vacaville is a martial arts academy dedicated to building confidence, discipline, and strong character through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Led by Professor Silvestre, a 5th-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a coral belt in Judo, as well as a world medalist with over 35 years of competitive experience and more than 30 years of teaching, our academy is committed to high-quality instruction in a safe and supportive environment. We proudly offer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and No-Gi classes for all levels and ages, starting at 3 years old, welcoming kids, teens, and adults into a family-oriented atmosphere.

AMERICAN NATIONAL CHAMPION 2026

Today, this title means far more than a medal.

The past few weeks have been incredibly difficult. I lost dear friends, faced moments of deep pain, and suffered another injury just before this competition. There were times when I wasn’t sure I would make it.

But God is good all the time. All honor and glory belong to Him.

I want to thank my wife for always standing by my side, my children, my family, and my students, who took care of the academy and gave me all the support I needed to be here and compete.

I truly feel blessed to have such amazing people by my side. This victory belongs to all of you as well.

Another packed night on the mats, full of energy, hard work, and learning!

In our team, Jiu-Jitsu is about much more than techniques and medals. We understand that no one grows alone. Every training session and every achievement happens because we have teammates beside us, helping each other improve.

That is what makes us different. We don’t just say we’re a family—we act like one. We support each other, grow together, and stay united on and off the mats.

In Jiu-Jitsu, we need one another.
