With heavy hearts, we write to inform you that after many years of proudly serving our community, our fitness business will be closing its doors in early September. This decision was incredibly difficult and one we did not want to have to make. However, the current economic times have made it exceedingly difficult to achieve the previously obtainable American dream.
Serving this community, especially our youth, has been our greatest joy. It is with immense sadness that we conclude it is best to step back before further financial hardships impact our family. Despite our tireless efforts in marketing, competitive pricing, and innovation, the economic climate under the current administration has proved too challenging to overcome.
Our business once thrived under the prior administration. We enjoyed overfilled classes, and many people sought out our services, fully embracing the American dream. However, under the current administration, we have seen a drastic and immediate downturn. Within weeks of the rise in fuel prices, we lost 50% of our clientele. This loss increased to 80% within two months due to further inflationary pressures. Even with our prices lowered to the most competitive levels within hundreds of square miles, we could not retain our clients.
The rise in fuel prices and subsequent inflation caused by policies of the current administration have increased the cost of essential goods and services, leading our clients to cut non-essential expenses like fitness memberships. Moreover, inflation has made it harder for everyone to afford basic living expenses, and when life gets too expensive, extras like fitness become unaffordable. Despite working multiple jobs to sustain our business and extensive marketing efforts, Coach Rachael and Coach Rock faced insurmountable challenges. The primary reason for client cancellations was the growing economic hardships caused by the administration's policies. These hardships have affected many small businesses like ours, resulting in a severe financial strain.
Our final operational days will be in early September, and no billing will occur beyond the end of August. We are committed to ensuring that no further charges will be made to your accounts past this date.
Though we are closing our physical location, we remain hopeful for the future. Coach Rock plans to transition to an online platform, extending our services beyond our local community when financial conditions improve. We will keep you updated on this exciting new chapter via our social media pages. We humbly ask for your prayers and understanding as we navigate this sad transition. Although we are deeply frustrated with how our country has been managed over the past four years, we will continue to advocate for the American dream and hope to see economic growth with future administrations.
