Dear Henry,
It’s hard to say goodbye, especially to someone who was part of our beginning.
When we opened GB Vacaville, you and your family were some of the people who took a chance on us. You trusted us, supported the school, and believed in what we were trying to build.
More than being one of our early supporters, you became part of our GB Vacaville family. We shared the mats, trained together, talked, laughed, and created memories that we will carry with us.
With your family, you took pride in representing GB wherever you went. We will always remember seeing you and your family proudly wearing your GB gear.
You helped the people around you, both on and off the mats. We will remember your stoic leadership. Through your actions, you showed us how to face challenges, stay steady, and just keep going—while having fun along the way.
As your teachers, it was an honor to share in your Jiu-Jitsu journey. As friends, we are grateful that our paths crossed.
Tomorrow, August 15, as your family and loved ones gather to say their final goodbyes, we will be thinking of you and remembering the time we had together.
Jiu-Jitsu schools are built with mats, but it’s the people who train on them who truly make our community. You helped make GB Vacaville what it is today, and your place in our story will always remain.
Thank you, Henry, for trusting us when we were just beginning. Thank you for sharing the mats with us. Thank you for helping the people around you. Thank you for proudly representing GB with your family wherever you went. And thank you for showing us what it means to just keep going, while having fun along the way.
Rest peacefully, Henry.
You will always have a place on our mats.
With love, respect, and gratitude,
Your GB Vacaville Family 🙇🏻🔺🙏🏼
