Four years ago, while I was in therapy trying to complete a "homework assignment"—to figure out a way I was going to live without Tyler and keep his memory alive—I came up with the idea of a golf tournament. I never could have imagined that four years later, we would have raised over $250,000. Our family is more than grateful for the way this community has come together to make this tournament what it is today.
Because of your incredible generosity, we were able to make a small impact on multiple things we and more importantly Tyler was passionate about:
We presented two scholarships through the Marine Corps League in Tyler’s name, along with a scholarship for the Solano County Cadet of the year.
We proudly donated again to the Vacaville Police Cadet Program and the Fairfield Police Explorer Program. Thanks to your support last year, the Fairfield Explorers were able to purchase brand-new uniforms, and we are honored to continue supporting these great kids.
A good portion of the proceeds went to E5 Therapy so our local veterans and first responders can continue to get the help and mental health support they need.
Additionally, after learning that a lowlife destroyed the plaques for fallen officers at City Hall and the plaque in front of the VFW hall in American Canyon for a Marine who died in Afghanistan, we were able to donate funds in Tyler’s name to ensure that Marine's plaque is fully replaced.
We truly cannot do this without you, and we want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made the 4th annual tournament an unforgettable success.

Fairfield Chevy/Subaru: Thank you for your incredible ongoing support and for providing the two hole-in-one vehicles. This year, the magic finally happened—a lucky golfer (and local fireman!) aced the hole and won a brand-new Chevy Silverado!

Special Contributions & Dedicated Supporters
B Engell and HPC for all you do and donate every year.
Edgar and Marshall: Thank you again for donating the tournament towels—they turned out great!
Reece and Sarah: Thank you to our nephew and his wife for once again donating the tournament golf balls.
Solano Laser Craft: A wonderful job with the logos on the golf balls. We can't wait to see what you come up with next year!
David Henry: Thank you for donating the tournament signs for our first four years. We wish you nothing but the absolute best in your well-deserved retirement!
Pavan: Our great friend who supplied all the on-course drinks again—we cannot thank you enough.
True Symmetry Brewing: A special thank you for your wonderful support and contributions to the tournament this year!
Chardonnay Golf Course: Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and for hosting us once again.
A massive shoutout to our Marine family from the Marine Corps League for coming out to barbecue, and the Solano Napa Firefighters who were absolutely killing it with their brisket.
To all of our volunteers and everyone who donated items: this tournament simply does not happen without your time and effort.
This event has truly become a national gathering. We are incredibly moved by the golfers and Marines I served with, as well as Tyler and Andrew's friends, who fly in from all across the country—including Wisconsin, Michigan, and Oklahoma—and drive in from Idaho. This year, they brought their wives, who volunteered at the hole-in-one boxes and got to witness that incredible Silverado win firsthand.
With Deepest Gratitude
I could not end this without mentioning two very instrumental people who, no matter how busy they are, keep this going for us every single year: Dan and Cade. You mean everything to me, Marie, and Andrew.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. The contract for next year is already signed. Take care, stay safe, and hug your kids.
See you all on May 24th, 2027!
With love and gratitude,
The Switzer Family
