⚾️🥎 Uvalde Little League – Important Safety Update 🥎⚾️

We want to share an important update regarding safety at our facilities. Effective immediately, underaged individuals are no longer allowed in any press box area without a parent or guardian present.

Yesterday, we received reports of suspected va**ng occurring in the Avalos press box, with over 10 underage individuals present at the time. While the situation is still being reviewed, we are taking proactive steps to ensure a safe and appropriate environment for all players, families, volunteers, and visitors.

The press box is considered a restricted area, and we ask for everyone’s support in helping reinforce these expectations. Our goal is to maintain a safe, positive, and respectful atmosphere for everyone involved in our league.

A big thank you to everyone who came out for our umpire clinic!

We appreciate all of our umpires who attended and took the time to learn, improve, and prepare for the season. Your commitment helps ensure a great experience for all of our players.

We also want to give a special shoutout to the players who came out and helped scrimmage during the live practice portion. Y’all played a big role in making the training a success. 🙌

This is a friendly reminder that our **mandatory umpire training** is coming up:

📅 **Sunday, March 29th**

⏰ **Classroom Session:** 8:00 AM
📍 SWTXC – Briscoe Auditorium

⚾️ **On-Field Training** will follow at the
📍 Uvalde Baseball Complex

All **new and current umpires must attend**.

Please make sure to arrive on time and be ready for both the classroom and on-field portions of the training.

⚾️🥎 Uvalde Little League – Friendly Reminder 🥎⚾️

Help us keep our ballpark safe for every child and family. Please review the guidelines below:

🚗 Parking Guidelines
• Enter and exit ONLY through the Double Gate (West) Entrance
• Do not park behind other vehicles — this blocks access and creates a safety hazard
• No parking by the concession stand or umpire/equipment rooms
• Overflow parking is available at the soccer field parking lot

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Child Safety at the Ballpark
• Watch for children walking between cars
• Drive slowly at all times in the ballpark
• Hold younger children’s hands near traffic
• Keep walkways, gates, and entrances clear at all times
• Supervise children closely, especially near parking areas

🚸 Why This Matters
These guidelines help prevent accidents, ensure emergency access, and keep traffic flowing safely for all families.

These guidelines will be actively monitored for everyone’s safety, and violations may result in vehicles being asked to move immediately.
