The Volin Fire Dept. is having a poker run for funding Matts Scholarship at Northeast Community College. You don't need a classic/ muscle car to participate. You can drive your minivan in. Club Membership have been very generous in donating to this and it is greatly appreciated. The goal is to raise about $25000.00 and than it will be self sustaining.

Extra club meeting on July 23, 2026 at 7:30pm at the range. We will be voting on a proposal we received to build a new club building. Come and see the plans and vote.

200 yards tonight for .22 benchrest. High score was 397. High X count was 20. Smallest group was 1 3/4 inches. Finished just before the sprinkles started.

Tonight was ARA .22 benchrest for league shooting at the range. Lots of colorful wind flags blowing in the breeze. A beautiful night for some friendly competition.

Cool, but a good night for shooting .22 bench-rest at 200 yds. Best score was 398/400. Best group size was 1 7/8”. Best X count was 19/40.

If you are interested in joining the club you need to do the following:
1. Join the NRA and have your membership number. Yankton Sharpshooter dues are $120.00 a year.
2. Come to a club business meeting. They are the second Thursday of the month at the VFW in Yankton at 7:30pm.
3. After approval at the business meeting you will need to attend a safety walkthrough at the range. The time for the safety walkthrough will be set up at the end of business meeting.
