As we head into the weekend, here’s your reminder:

You don’t have to earn your rest.

You don’t have to earn a meal out.
You don’t have to earn time with your family.
You don’t have to earn a relaxing weekend.

And you definitely don’t have to be perfect this week to keep making progress.

So many women spend Fridays focusing on everything they didn’t do.

The workout they missed.
The water they forgot to drink.
The healthy meal that turned into takeout.

But what if today you focused on what you DID do?

Because every class attended, every walk taken, every healthy choice made, and every time you chose to show up for yourself counts.

Progress isn’t built in one perfect week.

It’s built in the hundreds of small decisions you make over time.

Okay... nobody talks about the weird part of trying a new fitness class, so let's get into it👀

You sign up for the class.
Then immediately start wondering:
"Wait... what do I wear?"
"What if everyone is already friends?"
"What if I'm the least fit person there?"
"What if I can't keep up?"
"What if I don't know what I'm doing?"
"What if everyone is staring at me?"

Spoiler alert: They're not.

Because the women in class are usually thinking about their own workout, their own kids, their own to-do list, and whether their legs are going to survive the next set 😂

The truth is, every single woman you see at Ohana had a "first class" at some point.
They were nervous.
They were unsure.
They almost talked themselves out of coming.

And now?

They're the ones welcoming new women through the door.
If you've been watching from the sidelines, wondering if you belong here, this is your reminder:
You don't need to get in shape first.

✨ HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SAM! ✨💛

Today we celebrate one of the most beautiful souls we know. If you've ever been in Sam's presence, you understand. There is just something about her. She has a way of making people feel seen, heard, safe, and calm simply by being herself.

Whether she's leading a yoga class, guiding a sound bath, offering a kind word, or simply sharing a conversation, Sam carries a peaceful energy that has touched so many lives within our Ohana community.

She has this incredible ability to help people slow down in a world that constantly tells us to speed up. To breathe a little deeper. To be a little gentler with ourselves. To find a little more peace.
Sam, your light shines so brightly, and we are so grateful for the love, kindness, wisdom, and healing energy you bring to our community!

Happy Sunday 🫶 Before you jump into a new week, take 5 minutes today and ask yourself:

What worked well this week?

Not what went wrong.
Not what you missed.
Not what you wish you had done.

What actually went well?

Maybe you made it to class.
Maybe you drank more water.
Maybe you took a walk instead of skipping movement altogether.
Maybe you simply kept going when life got busy.

Those wins matter.

Too often we spend our Sundays planning how we’re going to “do better” next week instead of acknowledging how far we’ve already come.

The goal isn’t to start over every Monday.

The goal is to continue building on the habits you’re already creating.

So take a deep breath.
Celebrate a few wins.
Make a simple plan for the week ahead.

And remember…

You don’t need a perfect week to make progress.
You just need another week of showing up 💛

Most women are so focused on what they didn't do this week that they completely overlook everything they did do.
Maybe you:
✨ Made it to a workout
✨ Drank more water
✨ Chose a healthier meal
✨ Went for a walk
✨ Got back on track after a rough day

Those things count.

Progress isn't built by being perfect for a week.
It's built by showing up over and over again, especially when life gets busy.

Here, it's not unusual to see women in their 20s working out alongside women in their 70s.

Different backgrounds. Different fitness levels. Different life experiences.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DANIELLE!

Today we're celebrating one of our favorite humans and one incredibly amazing coach!
If you've ever taken Danielle's class, you've probably heard one of her famous lines...
"You're fine." 😏😂 And somehow, even when your legs are shaking and you're questioning every life decision that brought you to class that day, she says it with just enough sass that you believe her and keep going.

But behind the jokes, the tough love, and the one-liners is someone who truly cares.
Danielle pours so much into our community, our members, and our studio. She wants every woman who walks into her class to feel stronger, more confident, and more capable than they did when they arrived.

Her classes are amazing, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our Ohana family 💛
