Ending the summer off with today’s final small group session!

A summer full of small group sessions and private lessons - I finally remembered to take some photos and videos today 😅

Had a lot of fun working with awesome goalies from 8U - 16U.
Some just learning and some tuning form, some local and some had some long travel - but all with the same mission of working to get better and gear up before the season starts!

Thanks to the goalies, shooters, and of course the parents!

Learning proper depth - more specifically the correct timing and situation of depth along with hands & feet

Following the puck - not giving up after the initial save, eyes, hands, and feet being critical factors with making the second save

These are a few things goalies need to learn from people who have played the position. Youth hockey coaches who have never played goalie can sometimes learn some lingo, some basic technical form, but can rarely properly relate and be able to translate it to correct game situations

Get your goalie some dedicated goalie time, with someone who’s actually played the position and can understand, relate & translate properly!

Summer is almost here! Never too soon to start planning for your goalie to get some ice time before the new season kicks off!

Dedicated goalie development is a key ingredient to help a young goalie become the trusted anchor of their team - and small group sessions are a great option.

Small group sessions allow for more shots, more reps, more coaching, and allows a custom approach for each goalie rather than a cookie cutter plan

Two options for summer small group clinics, discount if you sign up for both - 6 goalies MAX per session!

The week started off with a few private one-on-one sessions and a team practice session, then ended with a great 2-hour small group session this morning with goalies from local area and had some travel from far!

I love when the goalies travel and get together during downtime to work on improving their game - the only way to get better is to work hard! Especially for goalies when competing for playing time!

Thanks to all the goalies - and shooters - for ending the week with a bang!

Bringing the small group session back for the winter break in February! Perfect timing for States or any other end-of-season tournament!

This is a 2-hour session and will focus on:
