Champaign County Shooting Academy Educating youth, college students, adults on firearm and archery safety and marksmanship.

Our mission is to provide facilities to promote firearm and archery safety and marksmanship training programs focusing on youth development organizations, competitive shooting opportunities, hunter education training, access for disabled shooters and women's programs.

Ladies!!! We are starting a new series of classes this fall with some small changes. Thursday, September 3 and 10 we will offer a two night archery class with an optional 3rd night which will also be open to any women who have completed any of our previous archery classes. We hope this will allow you to maintain your new skills on a regular basis. We plan to offer similar opportunities with air rifle in October and air pistol in November. These classes will be open to women 18 and older. Use the QR code or go to https://bit.ly/Sep2026archery to register.

A dozen delightful damsels descended on our range for our annual Women-on-Target clinic. Of these, five fearless females fired five spheres on four faces to finish their official Pistol Course. From bold beginners to confident competitors, these remarkable markswomen were a perfect pleasure to teach.
Shout out to the spirited squad of shooting sports staff who survived the day with satisfied smiles on their sweaty faces.
