Last night, TCDG held our annual league meeting! We talked shop, elected some new board members, and then headed out to celebrate the plans we’ve got for the year.

It’s Monday, and all we can think about is TCDG’s scrimmage from this weekend!

There’s no better way to destress from the week and get ready for the next one than hitting your teammates. 😉

We also want to give a huge congratulations to the new skaters who got the chance to step onto the track and scrimmage this weekend! We’re so excited to see you getting out there putting all those new skills to use!

In light of the recent Supreme Court ruling, it is as important now as ever to be loud and unapologetic in our support for trans athletes. We’re glad to see so many other leagues speaking up, and even if it’s been said before, it is always worth saying again:

Trans athletes belong in sports.

We’ve said it before, and we’ll keep saying it until trans people are afforded the rights, respect, and equality they deserve. TCDG stands with our trans teammates, who are a valued, vital, and irreplaceable part of our league and of the roller derby community as a whole.

TCDG is and will remain an open-gender league. Trans skaters belong here. Full stop. There is no room for transphobia in our community. 🏳️‍⚧️

The first batch of TCDG's goslings have earned their wings!🪿💙
After completing our New Skater Program, we're excited to officially welcome our newest teammates to the track. They've put in weeks of hard work learning the fundamentals, building confidence, and becoming part of our derby family. We can't wait to watch them continue to grow, develop their skills, and continue their roller derby journey alongside the rest of the league.

Our new skaters have been at it for a few weeks and are rocking it! 🎉🛼🤘Starting is the hardest part
and our new-crew have been hard at work learning the skills they'll need to join our vet skaters on the track in the fall!🎊✨🤞
