IT’S CAMP WEEK!!! REMINDER!! Originally we planned for this to be in the AUX gym on the 27th, but a few things happened and to accomodate, it was moved to the Cafeteria on the 26th. Signs will be posted outside the doors and parking will be by the PAC!

Phenomenal camp. 10 warriors got better this week and will carry the drilling skills and techniques into the season. The bonding and experience was incredible. And as always, the hospitality from the Jordan’s was incredible. Can’t wait to be back next year!!

Kicking off year 2 of Port Huron High at Jeff Jordan's State Champ Camp! 8 kids last year, 10 this year, and 3 others that attended the top and bottom prior to this! This camp has definitely become a staple in our program. Great technique and clinicians and even better people and hospitality.

What a blessing it is to have 4 more years to continue chasing a dream. Congratulations Alonso and Bondaryl, you both have earned the opportunity to continue your athletic and educational careers at Lake Erie College. The sport of wrestling is unique. There is a level of preparation that, if you try to explain to someone who has never been a part of the sport, is difficult to comprehend. The amount of sheer discipline it takes to be physically and mentally ready for a practice, a match, or a season is beyond what most people care to have.

These two have been a part of multiple historic moments in this program. Our first conference title in 25 years, our first time ever winning conference titles BACK TO BACK, and more. Now they leave another lasting mark on the program as our first 2 collegiate wrestlers in 20+ years. They have shown that they have what it takes to be successful no matter where they are at. Not because of their talents, which they have plenty of. But because of their work ethic, their mindset, and their discipline. They put the team above themselves. They lead by example. And they push people around them to work harder and be better. It has been a pleasure to have them be a part of this program. We are all so proud and cannot wait to see what you accomplish at the next levels.

Not 1… BUT 2 WRESTLERS HEADED TO LAKE ERIE TO CONTINUE THEIR CAREER ON THE MAT!

Join me in congratulating both Alonso Garcia and Bondaryl McCall III for their commitment to wrestling and furthering their education!!

We could not be more proud of their efforts on and off the mat. These two only have a combined 8 years of wrestlings (Alonso 3 years, Bon 5). The insane amount of effort, dedication, and discipline they show at this young stage of their development is incredible. The Red Hawk wrestling community cannot wait to see what they become!
