This here Site first started off as a page to help promote our back yard racetrack which started off as a cornfield and with Grandma and Grandpas graces turned into a little know gem in Adrian, Ohio called Carl's Place to Race. (IN honor of Grandpa Collet) We was able to race/play here for 6 years and then we sadly lost half the track not once, but twice. (due to property being sold) so a

s I have it with some of my idiotic thoughts and my short temper/i don't give a s**t attitude towards some rule changes else where I started my own go kart series in the spring of 2024 named after Grandpa yet again, "The Chase for Carls Cup" it was a 8 or 9 race event schedule focused on bringing outlaw racing back to the grassroots of go Kart racing. It was a Rwyb type of deal, and we had a decent turn out with it for a 1st year deal. So, we decided to go bigger and better for its second year. With the selling of half of the shorter yet almost 40 mph speed producing facility, it left us short of an important piece of the puzzle, that is a racetrack to play at....So with great pleasure I Introduce to you The Chase for Carls Cup Traveling Go Kart Series, featuring a new class to the series Mary's Class (named after Grandma Collet) it is Based Loosely off of idiots (with permission) with a Carls Cup twist. We are traveling to 9 or 10 new venues for Carls Cup this year all across the northwest and central part of Ohio. Come join some of the BADDEST BADASSES TO EVER GRACE A GO KART!! AND COLLECT SOME DOUGH WHILE YOU DO!

Well, after a good long boring day of rest, we got the points ready for post and we got the green light to go play with the YKN fellas on their play ground...im SUPER stoked about that. I got a group chat going and if your seriously interested in going please reach out to myself (Justin) so we can get things going for ya.

We as a series are looking for sponsors to help ease the cost of travels for our guys.

I did get the green light to bring the parts truck for the ones who are going, as the Official Fuel Supplier and Parts Supplier Warloc is going to help with the cost of the parts and will supply the fuel to Carls Cuppers for free.

Who of the Carl's Cuppers would want to go stomp around on ykn playground? I may be able to help with fuel and some cost...

Whhhoooooo boy.....today's race at Dirty "O" was a doozy for sure, you know those big ol football helmet faceshield front bumpers we make you guys have. Let me tell ya the ol chaps definitely was not afraid to use them today, and I'm not going to lie, it made me smile seeing you boys do battle.

If you was finding yourself slow, the fast ones was letting you know to move bitch get out the way!! As made famous by Ludacris. Lmao

Ky "Superman" Harper put a clinic on for the masses today in Sunday Bible Study of Speed, and we think Matt "Night Prowler" Craun has started to figure you out. These two fellas will be ones to watch this year for sure.

Our Very First and only Track Champion Larry "Hewitt" Rice had his space ship set on kill and unfortunately got tangled in a 1st lap maylay for the feature and broke a 2 dollar part and it ended his day way way to early.

And our beloved Tommy Long our 2025 Season champ started to look real healthy and things was finally going his way, great run bud.

The middle of the pack and the squirrels you guys put a hell of a show on and you guys was slicing and dicing and I'll be honest, I was watching you more then the leaders. DIRTY O is a different track and a unique one.

Our dash was a little odd at the checkered and we had 3 of 6 cross the flag as the other 3 decided it was a great time to turn, turn 4 into a parking lot... 😉 note to self. (It's not a good idea). I'm done tickling the tease now. But seriously, you guys came.. showed up.. showed out and showed how hard fast and dizzy racing should be. The coolest part is you guys gave what you received and when put back in line, not one person bi***ed.

As you all know I wasn't flagging, I was in race control position and I tell you what, this day...it's one for the books and it showed me where i need to be as a person/leader and the team we have become from the ol days of Carl's Place, today really highlighted that.

Brandon Morelock first of all dude. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.. for everything you have done for me, myself as friends, and then second for the series and for our beloved racers. ❤️

We had a apprentice Bryan hop on board and you guys did well at welcoming him. If all goes well he'll be with us for the rest of the shows.

Michelle Morelock thank you for feeding us at the end of the night and like always thank you for being you..a great friend and better family.

Ty thanks kiddo, your new nickname is the Taco Snatcher Lol.

Until June 20th at Ottawa Lake Bullring for The Birthday Bash featuring Carl's Class at Night, where the winner gets a birthday cake.

This Wizard is going back to his dungeon and continuing to make his wizard brew. Rest easy fellas. The 20th is right around the corner.

Marys Class is invading Dirty "O" Speedway in Fostoria June 6th, (this Saturday for the ones who cant count) for their first points race of the year.

Gates are slated to open at 4p.m and hotlaps at 6p.m

Classes offered: Marys Class Only (5ft stock appearing) non member,

Top 5 pay out. Registration is closed at 5:30pm.

And yes the unmentionable r..r...rr...rain..🤢🤢🤮🤮..is in the forecast, but don't worry if we cancel we plan on using Sunday for a make up date.

Also is you have a big trailer or any trailer really, we ask that you try and get there earlier for parking arrangements.
