is a faith-based, nonprofit organization established to provide wholesome fun and character building experiences for young people in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Our goals are to promote physical fitness, social development, self-discipline, leadership and academic excellence through provision of competitive athletic experiences. We work hard to ensure that each participant achieves their “pe

rsonal best” within an environment that is fun, safe, nurturing, structured and supervised by highly trained and qualified staff. We embrace the philosophy that “ALL” children are “STARS” and with the right amount of love, support and guidance, each of them will shine. Our Christ-centered focus coupled with our family environment creates an atmosphere that builds self-esteem and encourages personal excellence and self-discipline. We take pride in our ability to teach and train athletes from all AGE and SKILL levels. Our staff combined has over 100 years of cheerleading and dance experience. In addition, our staff is trained in all aspects of cheer and dance technique. Our services are NOT targeted for a specific ethnic, social, economic or religious group of people. Members are accepted through an annual registration process. From our family to yours, we welcome you to our program and we hope that you enjoy the HEAT experience.

THE GOLD STANDARD CLUB ✨

Excellence isn’t given. It’s earned.

This season, we’re introducing something new at Crimson Heat - The Gold Standard Club.

Each month, our coaches will recognize athletes who are demonstrating what it means to represent the standard of Crimson Heat, not simply through talent, but through faith, character, leadership and excellence because being the Gold Standard isn’t about being the best athlete in the room.

It’s about how you show up.
How you respond to correction.
How you treat your teammates.
How hard you work when nobody is watching.
How willing you are to try.
How you lead.
And the character you display while doing it.

Our September 2026 Gold Standard Club represents all of that.

RAISING “ALL” STARS ⭐️

Twenty-five years ago, Coach Monique came to Crimson Heat as a cheer mom. Then she became a coach and now, an administrator. Through every role, she has helped shape generations of young people at HEAT. That’s why this story is a little more personal. ❤️

While Coach Monique was helping us raise All Stars, she was raising three of her own. Teyonne. Nia. Charlie.

They grew up in this program. They learned the routines, wore the uniforms, traveled to competitions and spent countless hours inside the gym and in between the practices, performances, wins and losses, they were learning lessons that would follow them long after cheer.

Today, Teyonne is a Clark Atlanta University graduate and educator. Nia is a Temple University graduate, professional dancer and dance educator. And Charlie, the youngest, is an honor roll sophomore and current member of Lady Fire.

Three daughters. Three different journeys. One foundation.

That’s the part of All Star Cheer we don’t talk about enough. The trophies are wonderful. The jackets are exciting. The skills matter.

The real win is who they become.

Women. Leaders. Educators. Artists. Scholars.

Coach Monique knows a little something about Raising “All” Stars. She’s been doing it for 25 years.

What a beautiful legacy she continues to build. ❤️‍🔥⭐️

THROUGH THE GLASS ❤️‍🔥

What do parents see when they’re looking through the glass?

Maybe they see practice. A group of girls standing around between reps. A water break. A little laughter when they’re supposed to be getting ready to go again.

If you keep watching, you’ll see so much more.

You’ll see friendships being formed. Confidence growing. Teammates learning how to communicate, encourage each other, work through frustration and figure things out together.

You’ll see your child laughing with someone who may become one of her closest friends. You’ll see coaches correcting her, challenging her and reminding her that she’s capable of more. You’ll see hard days, breakthroughs, inside jokes, hugs, conditioning, celebrations and probably a little attitude every now and then. 😂

Somewhere, in all of that, they’re growing up. That’s the part that can be easy to miss from the other side of the glass.

We know you’re watching the skills. The stunts. The tumbling. The routine, but we hope you see this, too.

The friendships.
The sisterhood.
The confidence.
The belonging.
The memories.

One day, long after the uniforms don’t fit anymore and competition weekends are just stories they tell, this is the part they’ll remember.

So the next time you’re looking through the glass, look a little closer. There’s a whole lot more happening in there than cheer. ❤️‍🔥
