Where It All Started ⚾️

Looking back at this picture brings back a lot of memories.

In 4th grade, while my dad was building our house, I started putting together my own little pitching training area in the basement. It wasn’t fancy — unfinished walls, a few pieces of equipment, and a kid with a baseball trying to figure things out.

But looking back now, it was the beginning of something much bigger.

Long before Belter Baseball Academy, before the Northwest Wolves, and before I started working with other players, there was a kid in this basement who simply loved baseball and wanted to get better.

Funny how you never realize in the moment that you’re building the foundation for something that will become such a big part of your life.

Every journey has a starting point. This was mine. ⚾️

🍂 Northwest Wolves Baseball | Fall Season Program 🍂

Looking to continue developing your game this fall? The Northwest Wolves Fall Season Program is built for players who want to improve their skills, compete, and prepare for the next level.

⚾ Program Details
• High school players welcome (13-year-olds not yet in high school are also eligible)
• Limited to 30 players
• September through the end of October
• No tryouts – player development is our priority
• 2 practices each week
• 1–2 weekend games each week
• Practices and games held at Walker Field and Fuessenich Park
• Team discount on Marucci gear
• Registration through Google Forms

This program is designed to help players sharpen their baseball IQ, build confidence, and continue developing in a competitive, positive environment throughout the fall.

⚾️ BELTER BASEBALL ACADEMY – SUMMER INSTRUCTIONAL SESSIONS ⚾️

Looking for a fun and engaging way for your young athlete to improve their baseball skills this summer?

Join us at Rowley Field in Winsted, CT for our Summer Baseball Instructional Sessions designed for players ages 7–12. Players will develop fundamentals, build confidence, and enjoy the game through quality instruction and exciting drills.

📍 Location: Rowley Field – Winsted, CT
👦 Ages: 7–12

💰 Cost:
• $150 per session
• $25 per day drop-in option

📅 Session 1: June 20 – July 17 (No session July 4)
📅 Session 2: July 18 – August 8

⏰ Schedule:
• Fridays: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Saturdays: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Players will focus on:
✅ Hitting Fundamentals
✅ Throwing & Fielding Mechanics
✅ Base Running Skills
✅ Competitive Games & Fun Challenges

⚾️ PLAYER SPOTLIGHT | Geoffrey Winters | Lakeview High School ⚾️

The road back isn’t always easy, but Geoffrey Winters proved that hard work and perseverance pay off.

After suffering an arm injury in the fall, Geoffrey committed himself to the recovery process. He attacked his rehab and strength program all winter long, focusing on getting stronger, healthier, and ready for the season ahead.

That dedication paid dividends this spring as he became an integral part of Lakeview’s pitching staff. When his team needed him most on the biggest stage, Geoffrey delivered.

In Game 1 of the State Tournament, Geoffrey came out of the bullpen and put together a performance to remember:

🔥 2 Hits Allowed
🔥 1 Unearned Run
🔥 9 Strikeouts
🔥 Winning Pitcher

From injury setback to state tournament standout, Geoffrey’s journey is a testament to resilience, commitment, and trusting the process.
