I'm gonna end April with some important updates on the Shaolin Staff manual. I've decided to publish the book as two halves. There's a total of 55 stances, and the first one will consist of 27 stances. They are also grouped accordingly:

Group 1: Spear Basics = These 7 stances will provide the basic training for a newly-recruited Spearman. Practice these 7 stances well, and he should be able to perform decently in a Spear formation.

Group 2: Striking Basics = Moving on, you'll learn to hit with the Staff. This can be used to hit the enemy of course, or you could be deflecting their weapon.

Group 3: Twisted Stance = You'll learn to fight with your right leg forward. This can be used to step sideways and attack from odd angles.

Group 4: Advanced Striking = Now you're positioning your right hand forward. What you're learning here can be applied to weapons that are primarily used for swinging strikes, like a Long Saber, Battle Axe etc...

As I work on the manual, I keep discovering hidden lessons, which keeps expanding the book. Hence I have to split them into two halves.
