Desi Brown is the extraordinary individual who organized the original Tuesday Night Swing Dance in Albuquerque at CNM's Heights Community Center, which from what I believe ran for over two decades.. Many of us dancers would not be where we are today if it was not for Desi's selfless dedication to the community. Now it's our turn show our appreciation by doing what ever each of us can to help Desi Brown during this extremely difficult time of his life.

((Hello, this is DJ, Desi Brown’s sister.
He has given me access to his phone and Facebook contacts so I can reach out to everyone regarding a severe, almost life ending illness and surgery that he just went through and will be recovering from for several months to come.
Though he has health insurance and will get some limited temporary disability coverage for awhile, I am making an effort to help him cover basic living expenses and considerable medical deductible expenses until he is able to work again.
